HOW TO MAKE SHEA BUTTER SWIRL SOAP

Anna-Laure Parkinson guest blogs to show us how to make Shea Butter Swirl Soaps!

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Chop your Shea Butter Base into small chunks and place evenly into two microwavable containers. Place in the microwave until base has melted throughout and there are no chunks left.

Dilute your Mica colors with a small amount of rubbing alcohol and mix each color with a melted base.

You will need to add your fragrance at this point. Ensure it is mixed in thoroughly.

At this point, both your bases need to reach 51°C. This is key to ensuring that your bases don't mix into one color and should help make a more impressive swirling pattern.

Mix both the colored bases into your mold at the same time and sprinkle the top with glitter.

Leave to set until hard.
