How to make Handmade Easter Soaps

Easter is one of my favourite holidays and I couldn’t wait to make my very own Homemade Easter Egg Soaps for the kids to enjoy at home.

HOMEMADE EASTER EGG SOAPS

These soaps are amazing to be used in the shower, bath and even for guests and kids to wash their hands in the sink.  The fun and festive green will make bath time and washing hands so much more fun for kids and adults.  I used a very affordable Easter egg silicone mold that make the most perfect designs on these soaps.  So easy to make and affordable and perfect gift to include in those Easter Baskets this year.  Really hope you enjoy this tutorial.

What you need:

Directions:

Grab a medium size mixing bowl and place 4 cubes of Crystal Shea Melt & Pour soap in your bowl.  Cut them down to even smaller pieces to help them melt faster.

Place your mixing bowl in the microwave for 1 minute, remove and stir and place back in the microwave for another 1 minute.  Once the soap is completely melted remove the bowl from the microwave, and be careful it’s going to be very hot.  Quickly add in 2 drops of green soap colorant and stir it up and pour your soap into the molds quickly.

Once you pour the soap in the molds do not move them for a total of 2 hours or more.  If you notice any bubbles on the top layer of your soap spritz the soap with some rubbing alcohol and the bubbles will disappear.  Pop out your soap molds after 2 hours and they’re ready to be used, enjoy.
